APAS was founded in 2022 by Ross Stevenson in Bangkok, driven by a clear observation built over more than 20 years in finance and technology: while global banks rapidly adopted cutting-edge digital tools and AI-driven insights, SMEs across Asia-Pacific were left behind — grappling with delays to financial reporting, messy digital transitions, complex regulations, and the constant pressure to keep pace amid explosive growth.
Ross saw an opportunity to change that. Having led finance innovation at some of the world’s largest institutions, he understood the transformative power of these technologies. Now that they’re more accessible than ever, he launched APAS to bring enterprise-grade automation, compliance, and strategic insights to the region’s fastest-growing businesses - levelling the playing field and helping them compete globally.
Ross Stevenson brings over 20 years of finance and technology experience across APAC and global markets. As a former Executive Director at UBS Investment & Wealth Management and in multiple cross-industry finance advisory roles, Ross has led digital transformations for clients ranging from large multinationals to smaller enterprises.
He has a proven track record of launching successful finance solutions in Europe, New Zealand, and Asia, and is known for championing innovation, building strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
